So I got this hourglass a few days ago and then I thought about preparing this activity in order to make my students speak!!! The idea is the folowing: I’m gonna put some topics like: marriage, politics, violence, pollution, etc. into a bag, and then ask my students to pick one. It means he/she is gonna have to speak about that topic for some time!! I’ve already seen something like this in certain books (as you’ve already probably seen, too) but I think it must be really challenging to have one of those hourglasses during this activity, don’t you think?
